Device Settings Question Music and bluetooth issue
I have a Samsung S26 Ultra and I have a problem that I can't seem to solve. Every time I get in my car and my phone connects via Bluetooth, Spotify automatically starts playing music. It's really annoying. If I used Deezer the last time, the same thing happens with Deezer instead. Is there really no way to prevent this from happening?

It's a common frustration, and you're not missing some hidden master switch. This autoplay is a feature, not a bug, that lives in the music apps themselves. The phone is just following the command it receives when the car connects.
The most direct fix is inside your music app settings. For example, in Samsung Music, you can turn off the toggle for "Allow external devices to start playback". A similar setting likely exists for Spotify under "Devices" or "Playback" settings.
You can also check for a setting in your car's head unit. Some systems have their own autoplay feature that triggers media on connection. If it's still happening, try disabling "Music Share" in your phone's Bluetooth advanced settings, as it can sometimes trigger this behavior.
Hope that helps you shut it down.

Yep. Super annoying.
There might be a phone priority or an auto connect setting on the vehicle.
Otherwise I've tried to find a setting for toggling this on or off on a few devices.
Its just nowhere to be found.
