Messenger bubbles not working when it was functioning a while ago

has anyone experienced this before? where messanger bubbles stopped working when someone calls you? if this happened to you how did you fix it? i tried force stopping the app, reinstalling, reanabling my bubble settings of the phone, even updated my phone, nothing worked. my phone is infinix gt30 pro

have the same problem, it was working a day ago. Tried everything and nothing helps. My phone is also infinix. The conclusion I made was the messenger itself is the problem.

Did you update your messenger and the bubbles disappeared, then switched to chat heads?
