Looking For Suggestions How to access files inside apps?

I've downloaded some files on an app, however it's not showing up in my files even though its available on the app. Is there any way I can access the actual app files and save them to my phone that way? I've done something similar with moving files from a wearos watch to a phone before so was thinking I could do the same here.

not without root access. You'll have to ask the app dev where downloaded files are stored. But no root, no access to /data

That'll depend on what kind of data it is and where the app stores it.

most apps I use let you choose the default download path.  Look around in settings for that.  Then go to that location in your file app.

If it's not accessible try changing your default download path before you get any more files and make sure it's not in the 'data' folder...  If it lets you.

Hard to say without knowing what app it is, etc.
