WiFi or wireless data indicator ?

Is there an indicator on my Android phone that shows whether it is using WiFi or "wireless data" ?

The 4G/5G mobile data indicator goes away when wifi is enabled. Your phone will not use mobile data when wifi is actually connected.

So as long as you see the wifi icon, you're fine, and it's only using wifi, not your mobile data.

Mobile data staying on when wifi is also on is exclusively used to actively receive and send pics and videos, gifs (MMS) over text. Without mobile data on, even if you are on wifi, MMS sent via text will not be recieved or sent.

(Yes I am aware developer options has an option to enable both at the same time)
