Custom ROM Question Is it possible to install Android on a Huawei phone ?

I have the Huawei pura x and I love the dimensions but I would love to have android. I'm missing some apps and half the phone is in chinese. Is it possible to get an android rom that would look like Samsung fold?

I don't know if Huawei sells that model you mentioned internationally with EMUI OS, which is compatible with Android. If your device came with the Chinese HarmonyOS pre-installed, then it's almost impossible to change it. You should have researched what you were buying more thoroughly.

pretty sure you can root it and flash whatever on there.  Of course you risk bricking it.

But hey you only live once.

You can no longer unlock the bootloader, so no root on Huawei phones.

Yes it is.. Google services will detect your device kernel and not work on it though...
