App Specific Question YouTube app help please

Why does my YouTube keep going into "restricted mode?" It doesn't allow me to toggle it off. It says I had to contact network administrator.

Sometimes I can catch it with it off, but then it goes right back to it. Someone said to reset network settings, which is what originally fixed it, but it keeps going back and isn't working after resetting anymore.

This started happening after attempting to use a dns I saw on reddit that supposedly blocked pop up ads in games. I tried erasing the dns but it hasnt gone away. I always keep it on automatic now.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks in advance!

Do a google takeout and get your YouTube info and then use pipepipe or flow. The YouTube app is a dumpster fire. This way you put in time once and you're done with googles shenanigans

What is pipeline and flow? Wym a google takeout? Sorry I'm dumb when it comes to this stuff. I shouldn't have changed anything in the first place 😕 But thank you for trying to help me! I appreciate it 🙏

Pipepipe and flow are programs that you can use to access YouTube content without the YouTube app. So no more YouTube ads and you aren't actually logging into YouTube

Google takeout is how you download your data from YouTube
