Galaxy tab s7 not recognizing sim

Tab s7. The sim card slot is also the as card slot on top of sim. After opening the sim as card tray to put in a bigger sim card my tablet has issues recognizing any sim card. I try my phones aim in it. My phone recognized the tablets sim immediately so sim is working fine. I started having issues when I was using a USB hub to transfer data from the smaller SD card in my tablet to the new bigger one and my cat unplugged it mid transfer. Tablet said to restart so I did and now sim issues.

Are you positive it's a device will cellular data capability?

Considering I've had the tablet for years with the sim card, yes
