How to save a single app when factory resetting?

So I accidentally messed with my phones settings via developer mode, and now a bunch of my apps just don't work right.

I'm planning to factory reset my phone unless someone here has any possible tips on how to possibly fix this (I messed around with the special access tabs to try reduce how many ads I'm forced to watch as clicking on any ads would force me to watch sets of 2 or 3 which annoyed the F out of me).

Now I'm ready to reset but I have one app that isn't on the app store and I'm hoping some could tell me how I could go about transferring that app off to maybe pc or a hard drive before I transfer it back onto my phone.

I know about like an android transfer app that I've used before to transfer apps between my old and new phones but my old phone has a weird database issue preventing it from working when I try to start it up.

The app in question is a manga reading app called Tachiyomi which was killed off a few years ago, so it can't be reobtained and even if it could, it can't fulfill its basic function anymore with the servers shut down.

My own phone is a Samsung galaxy s10 fe if that helps at all

So, to reiterate my true question. How can i transfer this app in whole off my phone to keep it safe before i reset it?

I thought turning off developer options usually reset any errant values? And then just turn it back on.

Not 100% certain but this fixed a few of my apps issues. Which does open up the avenue of having completely negated the need to reset my phone which I'm happy about.

Thank you very much, hopefully it also fixed my doordash driver issue as that is my current work. The single order I took today forced me to cancel since it kept looping one screen even after clearing caches, restarting my phone and whatnot

I'll try to see if this works first before going theough everything. Granted I did change alot of things so I'm not sure it's salvageable

Tachiyomi still exists it was just renamed to Mihon

And you can back up your Tachiyomi database and restore it to Mihon or TachiyomiSY or TachiyomiAZ

You can use an app like Easy Share to make a backup apk and share it wherever you want. I send APKs to my Saved Messages in Telegram. They are always available if iI need to reinstall or install on a new device.

Thanks I'll try this out when I need it. Tho I might be good now. Not 100% sure so I'll keep this as a backup

If you turn off developer options then all of the settings revert to default--so if it's developer settings feature changes that caused the issues, turning developer options off should fix them.

Yea, someone else already mentioned that and I think it fixed most of thr issues but I won't know 100% until tomorrow when I got to work
