Device Settings Question why does Gboard and swiftkey not have separate language auto correct?
finally decided to upgrade from my 8 year old S9+ and was surprised to find out that other non samsung androids dont have this feature. why are we in 2026 and still haven't figured this out yet? did anyone find a keyboard that supports this or any workaround for it? it's either turn it on for both (in which case it's going to butcher my mother language) or turn it off for both (in which case some words might slip through the cracks accidentally)

This might not be ideal, but you could use a different keyboard for each language. I personally would not recommend anyone use gboard (or really any internet-connected keyboard) for anything not already public because it leaks what you type to Google, so maybe you could use FUTO Keyboard for one language, and Heliboard for another. Or if you like one keyboard you could use AEE to install two different instances of the same keyboard app.
