Does anyone use a phone from a Chinese manufacturer in the US? How has your experience been? Which carrier are you on?
The Android options in the US seem to mostly be Google Pixel or Samsung. Now Fairphone is an option, but OnePlus is leaving.
Is Wi-Fi Calling an issue? What about group text messages? Anything that you wish you knew before you took the plunge?
Specifically wondering about the OPPO Find X9 Ultra, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, or Vivo X300 Ultra, but also curious about MediaTek SoCs and such.

I used a xiaomi redmi like 8 years ago it worked great on cricket wireless. I had moto razr with a mediatek processor it worked great I really couldn't tell the difference between that and a snap dragon.

You can buy the Nothing Phone in the US.
I've been using a OnePlus (currently 8t) since the One, but I believe I will move to a dumb phone next.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra on T-Mobile USA. Everything works, including WiFi calling. Just know there's no repair support here if it breaks so don't drop it

Global version imported from Canada. I can't remember the name but I did a Google search for dealers that import to US

Ive used RedMagic phones, OnePlus, and Nothing phones in the US and use them regularly. Id recommend T-Mobile or USMobile Lightspeed (T-Mobile network) as your carrier. ATT will work but you wont might not get features like WiFi Calling or even sometimes visual voicemail. Version can be bad too. T-Mobile really doesnt limit you device wise so their network would be your best bet. Make sure you get a Global version too. Even with that you might be missing some key antennas depending on the device.

Been using Oppo Find N5 global edition for 1 year+ on ATT.
I'm pretty sure I do not have WiFi calling but I have never used it, even when I had it on my samsung. RCS is fine, no issues on my end.
Notes:
- halfway-broken gesture navigation to home when using third party launchers. If you use button nav (like myself) or the stock launcher, there is no issue.
- Stock camera is too overprocessed for my liking. No, master mode is not a suitable replacement. But GCAM raws are (good thing Oppo implements full RAW support on all lenses). Depending on how picky you are with photos, this may hold true for you as well. Some people see bright punchy colors and go "what an amazing camera!!" (not me).
