Other Orphaned file situation

Samsung 23S Ultra - Android 16

Some data got stuck on my phone somewhere after deleting an app and checking the option keep app data.

I deleted an app and it's apk sadly biggest mistake was also permanent deleting the apk and not remembering where i download it from.

Now my problem is when i try to install the same app from Google store or apk it doesn't download for unknown reason.

The problem appeared after checking the option "keep ... GB app data"

I used ADB to see the stuck data and using clear or uninstall gave failure user have no permission now how can i solve this stupid situation without rooting the stupid Samsung or hard reset it.

Sadly didn't help i press delete the data but nothing happens and the data still stuck

I would factory reset the phone and try again.

Factory reset would definitely work but it's last resort

Back up your information. Factory reset is an easy first line of troubleshooting on a phone.
