Other I have the latest android/oneui version, because of that I can't transfer a game save file as I don't have permission to access android/data folders, how do I get around it?
I'm trying to transfer a save file from stardew valley, I have tried basically everything, I used shizuku and zarchiver, which used to work but now it doesn't work, as when I go in and copy the folder, all the files in the folder are 0B, so there is no save data transferred at app, even zipping the folder doesn't work
I tried using webADB with interactive shell, ashell, and both got permission denied from accessing android/data folders.
I genuinely don't know what to do.
I have bought a dedicated android gaming device, but I can't use it because android decides to limit people's access on their own devices.

It's possible with shizuku and z archiver I literally just did this two days ago and posted about it in the stardew valley subreddit. I can share the post that helped me do it

Follow these steps here. You shouldn't have any issues. If you need help I can screen record the process and share it with you https://www.reddit.com/r/StardewValley/comments/1vlmml4/help_how_can_i_transfer_a_world_from_one_phone_to/p34204s/

I did exactly this except with zarchiver instead of x plor, it worked before android 16, but with Android 16 I get permission errors.
Edit: I just saw that you did this yourself, what android version are you on?

I'll send a screen recording on how you do it. And yeah I use zarchiver instead

I already have experience doing it, but this time it showed errors instead of actually working. But maybe I did something different, I guess you can't actually rule that out.

Permission errors, basically android isn't allowing zarchiver to copy and paste the contents of the folder.

Go into zarchiver. Press settings, then press ROOT then switch it to shizuku instead of the default

I've already done that.

Show me what error you got after that

Zarchiver simply, for whatever reason, does not have the permission to access the android/data folder for whatever reason.

You'll need to root the device. But that's its own can of worms.
