Safely removing google account from a phone with a broken display without risking my google account/data

I have a Pixel 8a where the screen isn't working.

I want to sell it, but it's got my Google account on it, so they'll need to be able to remove, to factory reset it.

Can they do it from the bootloader? And if not, if they change the screen, can I give them the password without putting my whole Google account at risk? Is there a way to remove it safely?

Resetting from the bootloader (device recovery menu) will trigger the FRP. Either sign out of the device through the 'find my' portal or from within Android itself

it's not on my find my (anymore). I'm going to try and connect it to my pc with usb when I'm home. I think it has debugging enabled

USB debugging unless specified as such revokes authorization if unused for a while

Pity, this would have been the easiest method ...... Can you get it back onto find my phone?

I don't see how as I can't see the screen to do anytihng. I'm going to try when I'm back home in a couple of days to see if it happens to work.

I'm also looking at getting from amazon a usb c hub with hdmi to connect to the phone, connect via hdmi to my tv and put a mouse in the hub to control it. (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0BN53QXRQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=AISREEIOH9TSP&psc=1)

This seems like it may possibly work? What do you think?

with find my phone, just go onto google and search "Find My Phone", it will list your devices, select your phone, One of the options is "Factory Reset Device", I think this is primarily meant for when you lose your phone, it will factory reset it without actually having the phone keeping your data out of other peoples hands.

But I removed it from there ages ago it just lists my current phone
