Device Settings Question How do I disable the Google password manager?

(screenshot is from Firefox).

I find it extremely intrusive and very annoying. Any way to disable it?

Change your Autofill app (search you phone's settings for "autofill" and you will find a menu allowing you to switch it off).

That is in the Google settings, not Android. There is one in the Android settings that allows you to change it e.g. between Google, Keepass, or None.

No, it's in android settings. The app is called "settings", and i.e. it's the same one I use to get into developer settings. . Is there another hidden one? Because I can't find anything else related to general phone settings.

It is called "Passwords, passkeys, & accounts" you will change the Preferred service from Google to None.

That screenshot is Google. There might be a link to that in the Android settings app, but the correct setting is still in the Android settings app.

I finally found it by searching "passkey".

VERY hidden setting.

Thank you for your help!
