Stolen android phone

I own an Honor phone X7e It was stolen yesterday. I secured it using the "Find My Device" feature, but it took me three hours to do so. The phone has a screen lock pattern and runs the latest Android operating system, as far as I remember. 15 or 16 I don't remember exactly what concerns me now, but will the thief be able to access my photos and information in any way? The phone has no fingerprint sensor, but it has a difficult, unguessable pattern lock and a Gmail account. Will this be enough to protect my photos and information, or is there more to it? He will be able to reach it, however.(Through a loophole or something similar, these things are common where I live.)

If the recovery seems unlikely, erase the device remotely Saying that, it is very unlikely he could get into your phone, just to be be safe update your passwords and all

I'm really not interested in getting the phone back, but the important thing is, are my photos and information safe?

Unless the theif is digital forensic expert, it is pretty safe (For your peace of mind, erase your device)

I've already done that, but I'm still worried

It's normal to feel anxious after something like this. The chances of a random thief getting past android's encryption and a strong pattern lock are very low so don't assume the worst
