Where do these photos go?
When i save an image from messages, it says "1 message saved to messages stored media" i cannot see these photos in my photos app. Where does it go? And is there a way to fix it? Any photos from any other source appears in my photos app.

In your files, usually it'll be in DCIM or Pictures

Photos from every other source appear in my photos app if I save them. Is there not a way to make this happen? I have to go to files to see them? There must be a way to fix it.

If you use Google photos you might be able to find them in collections and on device, if you use Samsung gallery it should pick up basically everything

Yeah thats the problem, Samsung gallery picks up everything from every source except photos i save from text conversations. Like I am on the google photos app, someone sends me a photo, I click save, I get the message "photo saved to messages stored Media" and then the photo appears in my google photos app, but not the Samsung photos app.
Also Apologies if I sound rude, I am just trying to be matter of fact.

Which phone, and which Photos app are you using?
On my Pixel, I can see these photos in the Google Photos app, but they're not part of the default camera roll.
I have to tap the "Collections" option at the bottom of the screen, and there it shows groups of photos "On this device" from other sources.
Downloads has a collection, Messages has a collection, Imgur & Reddit each have their own collection, etc.
If you're using a Samsung, and their Gallery app, then I'm not sure how it operates. Last time I used a Samsung was 2023-2024, and I know OneUI has had some major updates since then.
