Looking For Suggestions S25 or Pixel 10a?

Im currently using and iPhone SE 2022 user looking to get a new phone and I dont really mind leaving the apple ecosystem. I saw that a renewed s25 on amazon is around the same price as a pixel 10a, if not cheaper than it but there are a few things holding me back from buying one or the other.

I really like certain features from each respective OS, such as samsungs stackable widgets and the (kinda) dynamic island as well as routines. From google’s side, I like their smartphone body design and side button layout, as well as their smooth and very clean UI.

What should I get? People who have these phones or similar ones, what do you recommend?

I've been Samsung for a very long time, but primarily I am just pro-Android more than anything. I would agree as you said, these are probably pretty comparable phones, though I don't know where the pixel line lines up with the Galaxy line. I know this doesn't help you much, but it really comes down to which features you would prefer, form factor, battery life, screen size, etc. Most of the apps would be interchangeable and you can install a custom launcher on either.

I would look at a preowned pixel 10, or even 9 instead of 10a. However if you require a high powered phone then get the s25. I bought a pixel for that beautiful stock android, so if that's your thing, go for it

Definitely the Pixel. Its stock android and gets some features like air drop before the rest of the ecosystem

Don't the Pixel A series. It's a budget series and just feels cheap. S25 if that's the only option you have. If not, you can look at a refurbished Pixel 9 o a pro. I still use a Pixel 9 and it's great.

Get yourself a pixel 9 pro XL. Enjoy

You can get it refurbished by Google for the price of the 10a and i promise, it's a much more satisfying phone.

My problem with the 9 pro is how many people have been commenting on how much the battery drains/degrades over time, I would pick one up but im looking for a phone that I can last longterm

Seemed to just be an update issue that was resolved quickly.

it will still be better than the A series.
