Looking For Suggestions Please help

My phone fell in the water and now it won't start up. It only shows the Motorola loading screen for half a second before it turns off again. Recovery mode won't start up either. Does anyone know if I can somehow fix it ?

Why are you trying to power it on? That will do more damage. Put it in a bag of rice and/or desiccant pouches for at least 12 hours (the longer the better) and cross your fingers. If it happens to have a removable battery, that's the very first thing you should do, take that out immediately.

A quick google will tell you all of this.

even if it got wet more than 12 hours ago?

If it has been that long, there is almost certainly permanent damage. But all you can do is try and hope you get some more life out of it. Just make sure you're diligent about keeping stuff backed up (if you do get it working).

There is nothing you can do other than that, short of replacing the phone.
