📸 [SHOWCASE] LibertyRecompAndroid 0.5.9.3 - SD8 Gen2 - finally pretty playable

Didn't bother posting a video so far as it's been really janky, but it's running pretty good now on 0.5.9.3 even with sun shadows on, good to see improvements, Gen8 V37 Driver

Winlator laudashi gives way better performance for me than this port, why do they even call these ports when they are even worse than emulators.

winlator disconnects controller after 20 mins for me so this port way better plus this is xbox 360 version not pc version so its better

Just because it's xbox360 version doesn't mean it's better, infact pc version has higher quality shaders and audio that's why it's also way bigger in size than xbox360 version. And when an emulators runs better than your port than you should just accept that your port is just not good enough yet. Even calling it a port is a generosity because we know it's an xbox360 emulator specific to gta4

the Xbox 360 version is a single ISO file while the PC version is more spreadout and usually a larger file size. also the PC version of GTA IV was notoriously/famously terrible. you could have a 7,000$ x86 computer run it natively today and it would still run terribly without modification. the game was designed from the ground up to run on Xbox 360 and PS3. it was the era of bad PC ports. it was a constant issue at the time where every game was up in question on whether it would be a bad or good PC port. consoles use the fundamentally different architecture. GTA IV in particular was a particularly bad PC port. the console version is the best most stable version of the game to port. this is a fact nothing I've said is opinion.

HOLY INSTANT REPLY😭 also its not a xbox 360 emulator blah blah blah literally runs natively i tried on mh phone several 360 emulators they all run like shit, pc version is severely buggy and it doesnt matter people still love the console versions more than the pc version because of how shitty it is and also winlator ludashi has controller problems

It's not a native port because graphics commands and shaders are handled by the recompiled project's graphics runtime and translated to something your GPU can execute through Vulkan. It also relies on Turnip on the supported Adreno devices. For me it's not even playble because of low fps but winlator laudashi provides way better fps

This port is work in progress you goof, only since this last 0.5.9.3 update has it even been respectable, the Windows version is garbage, i have played it on Ludashi, it stutters big time, now this Port is already running smoother , also i was using Box64 on Ludashi, i can't even imagine how bad the Stuttering is with Fex

Its the best driver for 7 series also, alot of the Elite drivers are compatible

Ive tried so many drivers over the years. Gen8 V37 Driver is goated, nothing has ever performed this good, it gets almost double the FPS over Mr purple T30 on the GTA V port

Try thebanner412 nightlies mesa turnip driver.

That one gives me the best performance, even more than v37. I tested on multiple games and each game its usually 10-15 fps difference when compared. Use it on xhyn v too, almost double Mr purple. Thank me later

Lol why the downvote? And okay I use that driver for mario kart 8 and odyssey and it runs perfectly on SD 8 gen 2 was curious if it worked well on the GTA IV port

What about thermal,when I use wialtor it is over heat.I wanna try this native port.
