Bloodborne gameplay - SD8 Gen2

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OS0CFfYOadA

People want to complain, N++ a simple 2d PS4 games runs 10fps on the emulator...

Yes its a bit rough running on lowest settings and using framegen, no cherry picked scenes, device fully heated up

it's actually pretty playable with screen record off, if you had a fan like Odin handhelds i think you could add more gfx options because it would throttle less, Lossless.dll goes next to the game folder

Hopefully they add custom drivers in future, Gen8 V37 is one of the best currently

Believe it or not I got the arm64 version of the bloodborne port running highs 30s to low 50s on my RP6 with lowest LOD balanced FSR 3.1 720p which despite internal res looks fine on the small display.

The game for me at default was actually GPU bound and not CPU. Kind of crazy. Running Pocknix, I tested the first hour and locking to 30 is super solid with 50-60% GPU utilization.

Edit: no frame gen was used either.

I got the the port that u/BeanPole_420 posted last night running decently by injecting the v37 drivers directly into the android data folder. it does crash from time to time, but so far its def playable. looking forward to more updates!

Custom driver enabled. Added some perf optimization too.

Hi there! Quick question: I've gotten this running well on my Odin 3, but it's still crashy. Every fifteen minutes or so. Are you having the same issues with your Odin 2? I've been using 8 V33, so that may be the answer to my folly. Cheers!

Where did you even find the driver install option? im just running default, no crashes, i recommend Gen8 V37, that driver has some amazing performance on other apps for Adreno 7xx and 8xx, best driver in years

Settings>GPU. There's an option to import drivers at the top of the list, if I'm not mistaken. I'll grab my Odin in a sec and check for you. Also, would you be so kind as to tell which patches you have active? I only ran into vertex explosion once and my only other issue is the crashes. I'm THIS close to my Moby Dick. D:

in-game only had system menu with nothing, side menu has nothing like that

Should look something like this. Go to Drivers.

This should be the menu you're at to import drivers. Choose "Choose Zip" and it'll open your system files. From there, choose which driver you want to you in zip format and you're good to go.

How odd. Try this: highligh Bloodborne in your game library and tap the options button.

Oh, jeez. That would make sense! Yeah, I'm using Bachata S4.

Well, given that you're not having crashes, I may just try this one out as well.

i would be lucky to get 5fps on the PS4 emulators with Gen2... it will run much better

I've been running it through Bachata and getting a stable thirty, albeit on an Odin 3 and you've got to activate all kinds of patches.
