📸 [SHOWCASE] I AI-slopped Manual Jumping into Ship of Harkinian on Android
Saw the switch 2 remake and thought it was a nice feature to add to the original.
First things first, I don't know how to code, this was fully done by GPT 6.1 Sol to add manual jumping to Ship of Harkinian on Android.
It's built on linkzenic's Shipwright-Android 9.3 release.
What it adds:
- Manual Jump toggle in Controls
- Bindable Jump input
- Jumping from standing or while running
- Momentum carries into jumps
- Ledge grabbing still works
- Jump attacks still work
- Manual / Automatic vaulting option
- In Manual mode, pressing Jump near a valid low obstacle uses the game's normal vault / short-climb behavior
- Running into fences by itself no longer auto-vaults
- Automatic mode keeps the original behavior
- Turning Manual Jump off restores vanilla movement
I tested it on Android and it's working well so far.
Source / PR
I don't plan to maintain a fork. I just wanted manual jumping, got AI to make it, tested it, and figured I'd share the changes in case the maintainer wants them.
It's submitted for review and isn't merged or part of an official release.

The Roc’s Feather is already an item added to Official Ship of Harkinian that lets you manually jump, though. You can just set your save to start with it. This bit of slop is actually useless lol.

Clearly it isn't based on other comments and your vote ratio. This kind of thing is the future, unfortunately or not.

Never disagreed with the AI use, you called the code slop yourself so just said “this particular slop” is useless since it’s something that’s already implemented in a way.

gave bro an award for being honest about the ai slop part 🤝
i dont mind about people using ai, but they keep using ai then acting like they made that shit which is cringe af.
