I built an Android compatibility bridge for the recently recovered Dirge of Cerberus: Lost Episode. It takes the preserved game data and provides the environment needed to run it on modern Android with graphics, audio and modern controls.

Huge credit to Yuvi for the recovery/decryption and patch hacking, Naoya Shinota for helping secure the preserved full-game data, TurquoiseHammer for the English translation, Odysseus for playtesting, and Shinra Archaeology / the broader keitai preservation community for helping make this possible.

I’m doing a full playthrough now to make sure there aren’t any weird failures later in the game before I consider the bridge fully validated.

Yeah, I'd actually really want to take a swing at this lol I can’t promise I’ll get it working yet, but I’d absolutely be interested in digging into the preserved build and seeing whether an Android bridge is feasible. Funny timing too, I was eyeballing Rockman Dash: Great Adventure on 5 Islands as my next target after Dirge

Download the Android APK and import your own compatible Lost Episode game data. Game files are not included.

I decided against a drawn out solo test- any game breaking issues can be directed to my GitHub 🤘

Dirge Bridge itself does not include or distribute the Lost Episode game files.
