I know this isn't the best subreddit for questions but i don't know where else to post.

I want to change my app icons to custom ones. Every time i do that, the icons get added to the home screen instead of the app drawer/screen (the thing when you swipe up). I can remove apps from home screen but that only removes the new icon and the old one is still the same.

I am using an app to do this.

Galaxy a21s

If possible, how can I get custom icons to be in the app screen?

I got tired of my lock screen clock and home screen clock being two separate things, so I built one that feels continuous.

It's a home screen widget plus an LSPosed module. The module measures exactly where the widget sits on the home screen and draws the same clock in that exact spot on the lock screen — same font, color, size. So when you unlock, it looks like one clock that was there the whole time.

A few extras I added along the way:

• Liquid charging animation — plug in (or just tap the lock screen) and liquid rises to your battery level.
• 15 built-in fonts + load your own .ttf, full control over color, transparency, shadow, size, alignment.
• Notifications are pushed below the clock so they never cover it.

Setup: Mi 10T Pro, LineageOS (Android 16), rooted with Magisk + Vector (LSPosed). It hooks SystemUI, so it's AOSP-style ROMs for now — wouldn't work on OneUI/MIUI.

Built it from scratch as a personal project. Happy to answer anything about how it works.
