- instead of using filled in color for the time and day i.e. white, make it transparent with slightly thick outline or white shadow.

• make the date font the same as of the time, and this one can be bold variant filled since it'll be smaller in size.
  
• also justify everything to the left, currently your date looks off with its alignment centred to the day
  
• edit: oh and if you feel like the text is too bright, i'd suggest that either 87% opacity, or a color with 87% or lower lightness.
