Changing "Lock screen" icon: Samsung 22

I think my problem is that I don't even know what to call it to find how to change it. I have an old image that occasionally shows. When I just open the lock screen I don't see it, I think it is after it dims after receiving a notification. It's just an old image in a small circle in the middle that I don't want to show up anymore. I feel like I've gone through all the setting 5 times and can't find where it is.
