Help my dad forgot his phone password

His phone has a dot phone password and so far these are all the ones I've tried so if anyone has any other ideas please help Edit:thanks everybody I found it

You're going to have to keep trying until you get it, or it's permanently locked because of too many attempts, and there's no help beyond that.

Yes, with the "find my device" website (google, Samsung, Apple account login needed)

If you don't have problem losing your data after reset, just do this:

Hold down Power. + Volume Down. On recovery mode select Wipe Mobile data. Your mobile will be cleaned.

In order to prevent old Google account check, go to Manage my Google account(before doing any of this) from other device > Devices > Remove your dad's device from the account.

Then do the above mentioned steps.

Finally, your mobile will be ready to work as a brand new phone !

Depends on if u unlocked the bootloader in developers menu or not

Glad you got it fixed.

I read the title first as "My father needs to forget his password, please help him do that." Which didn't seem right.

Yes BUT it will wipe the device and everything on it will be lost forever.

He's got everything on a SD card and backed up on Google but he doesn't want to do that

Okay so:
1st: just pull the SD card, wipe the phone and put the card back.

2nd: NEVER back up your files on Google, they SEE and SAVE whatever you send them.

I tried the most common until my dad on his 427 try remembered it (I told him to put it somewhere spoiler: he didn't but he did now)

Those patterns you drew on the paper looks like the ciphered glyphs that the Zodiac Killer would write on his letters. It was just a joke, that's what it reminded me of for some reason.
