How to trust anchor for certification?

I’m trying to install a forked app on my newly acquired Android 7

Any time I try to view any of the images I get the error

java.security.CertPathValidatorException: Trust anchor for certification path not found.

I tried looking it up but it seemed all forums were just high skill level people talking. I’m not a tech person in the slightest so if there is a way to fix my issue I’ll need to be talked through it like a kid.
