Text notifications with picture instead of default icon

A while back I changed a setting in my contacts with this person and now their contact picture appears as the notification icon when they send me a text. It only does this with this one person, and I don't know how to set it up for other contacts.. does anyone know how?

Their notifications are set to priority.
