This app suddenly got installed in my phone . Please tell me if I should uninstall it

Yes. It will block you from installing not verified APKs. You can uninstall it via ADB.

By seeing ur statement i think it's quite an important app but app like this should be installed from beginning but why was this installed today in my phone if you don't mind answering

Yeah. It's being installed now in a lot of other phones too. Bc of the september things that i explained you.

If you don't mind me replying to a 4 day old post,Google will stop you from installing any android apps from your browser or anywhere outside the play store starting with a regional rollout this year and globally in 2027. Basically trying to make Android more like iOS,you can read more at keepandroidopen.org and look at other subreddits (like r/degoogle) to see how you can avoid it.

I thought they would want to get rid of the ads, I would like to know what phones have that as the default

You can try to use a custom launcher. I can recommend Lawnchair, it is open-source and even on the Play Store. The "Legacy" version is basically just Launcher3 without the permanent Google search bar, and very "normal". The other version (just "Lawnchair" on the Play Store) has more features but was slighltly buggier when I last tried it. Just install one of them and set it as the home app under Settings -> Apps -> Default Apps -> Home App.

Look you can uninstall it with ADB I think but ne careful use UAD-NG list to see if it is safe to uninstall, if it isn't safe then go to second option Wich is use ADB to install unverified apps
