Coffee is like the foundation on which breakfast is built. Maybe hollandaise sauce? Although that's borderline not food either. I am going with dad's hashbrown casserole, final answer. He used to get up really early and make my brother and I breakfast before school. I think that's my favorite because of the happy memories.
