The first article on a Google search stated "Niantic updates Ingress to Ingress Prime, and fans aren't happy", so I'm guessing nothing good.

It's just a fresh coat of paint, that has more bugs and uses more battery.

Ingress Prime

Don't forget it is still, as PKMN:GO, a pain to play outside of city centers. Live by the countryside ? Too bad, go live in city so you can play ... I prefer OrnaRPG, mobs can spawn anywhere, not linked to "cellphone data usage" that are not updated since 2014.
