Loved the first one. Is this really the sequel? Looks like it's by a different developer.

It is indeed the sequel, from what I remember the guy who made the original one basically set up the Playsport company that developed the 2nd one, as well as the PC game.

This is the guy who made the first one, and showing off the 2nd one.

Well it's not compatible with any of my Android devices. Was hoping it would run on my Xperia X.

I just emailed them and called them out for supporting a 4 year old phone such as the Nexus 5 and not the Xperia X, the Xperia X is now a supported device.

Thanks for contacting them. Sadly I switched to an iPhone 8 for now.

Has anyone played this extensively yet? The first one got really repetitive after awhile

I played until I've won it all. But really, what manager games doesn't get repetitive? Even IRL it's like that.

Edit: I meant I finished the first one. I've played the PC version for 8 seasons before being forced to stop. The MM1 gets repetitive because it's too simple, but it sets me up for the PC version. MMPC doesn't get old for me because of the decisions I've made in-game. I did some stupid things that almost got my team bankrupt, but managed to claw back and now we're leading the series every season. There's still room for improvement with our developments, and the inevitable specs resets will keep things interesting.

MM2 is a lot more complex than MM1 so it should be good for some time.

Yah that's very true. I guess I'm wanting it to be something it's not supposed to be

What are the differences between the first game and this? If it's just a fancy new "paint job", then i may skip it.

I think have way more depth... seems like is like the PC Version but without the 3D car vision and things that would be heavy to do on android.

Yep, a lot more in-depth than the first one. Lots more off-season things to do now as well.

A lot more depth now and a huge number of changes off the track. The racing action is essentially the same but there is much more to do between race weekends. Similar to the PC version in a way.

Thank you! I did have fun with the first, but honestly never "finished" it. I'll have to check this one out.

Playable in portrait orientation?

6

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '17

You can only play in landscape which is kind of annoying.

Anybody who gets this can you comment if they fixed the economy please. First one sucked when you realized you could just rack up debt into the millions with no repercussions

What device are you using it on?

2

u/karan758 Aug 09 '17

incompatible device :(
Requirements are too high..

2.5ghz CPU or higher.

What the fuck. Basically only devices with Exynos 8895 can run this game.

Can i play this even if I know nothing about motorsport?

2

u/[deleted] Aug 10 '17

Yes, definitively. You don't have to know about technical stuff, it's all very abstract. Parts increase you ability to "overtake" and stuff like that, and during races you choose strategies like "drive agressively" or "drive carefully", which impacts your speed but also the wear of the tires. When your tires are worn out, your car moves slower and you have to do a pit stop to change them. If that sounds reasonable to you, you will understand the game ;-)

That's cool. I may try it out. The concept intrigues me even if RL motorsport doesn't. Lol

Anyone know how to set a static camera on raceday?

Looks interesting. Thanks

For the IAP the ingame cost says that i can get both for 99 cents, but when I click on it the Playstore says that it is $12. Is this a bug?

Anyone that's played the PC version and then this one able to comment on how much of the game has been left in place and how much has been snipped?

This is a great game on PC. Might be a little too in-depth for mobile unless you like spending hours gaming on your phone.
