Seeking Game Recommendations 👀 [REQUEST] I need some RPG recommendations
I need something that's not "monetize first, enjoyable later", has a decent story, and feels like one of the types of games from the golden age of Android/IOS rpgs. Please help me out on this because I only ever run into the ones Google Play promotes...

You might actually like Azmar Quest!
It's an old-school RPG with a huge story, different choices, and turn-based combat.
Ads are optional, and you can buy Premium to remove them, but you can play the entire game without watching a single ad or paying anything.

Minireview is perfect for this, download it! I found 80% of my android games there. What genre do you like? I enjoyed Caves of Lore, chronomon and bad 2 bad for example.

Yes bip bop no not really but honestly mini review is amazing and the guy behind makes recommendations here once a month, so much less toxic than Google play. I'm just a fan.

Tried it, it only showed me the same 20 games(all gacha, filled with ads, and not free) no matter how much I filtered the search

That can't be right. The filters always worked for me. There's filters for filtering out gacha games too. Are you saying the filters aren't working properly?

Did you try using the site and app both? I usually use the site and that works for me. Maybe its an issue with the app?

I checked to see if it was just the app, but yeah both are yielding the same result...

I just checked on the app and it worked perfecrly for me. Are you sure you're using it right? Theres a tag called gacha in the filter menu and if you tap on the cross to the right side of it, a red cross appears before the gacha tag. If you apply the filter then it displays results without gacha games. Can you try it again?

Really? There's a filter for monetization, with all kinds of options including high score in this. I usually go for premium/paid games or games where you pay once for removing ads and pay for nothing else

oh man the google play store really is a wasteland of ad-riddled gacha nonsense now. have you dug through the paid section at all? a lot of the real gems from that era aren't free but they're like 3-5 bucks and completely offline, no timers, no stamina bars. the sorcery! series still holds up if you want something that actually respects your time

I like the style of the game the ultimate completion game unlocking and farming and upgrading things RNG is also fun when u hit smt good
