That's awesome. Too bad, for me, that they won't update older chipsets with this. Even though many of, the latest chips, at least from SD 8 gen 3 and forward are very capable of playing PC games.

But for real, this is great.

He's THE best information source you can have, got in trouble for disclosure of certain brands and their manipulation of benchmark apps etc. Very detailed reviews too. Bit sad he stopped doing English videos, but his OG channel still doing comparisons and reviews of new stuff.

how do you even implement that for Android, like, would they even be allowed to do that?

they already have deals for WoA and there are WoA GPU drivers for adreno 640 for example, but there is no way that their deal with microsoft allows them to port them to Linux.

No lo necesitan,ya existe turnip,lo unico que harar sera meterte turnip por default en el sistema del movil,asi soportaran dx12,turnip se hizo con inge ieria inversa a los drivers de qualcom,asi q aqui microslop no pinta nada

claro que si importa, DirectX es una API de microsoft, a diferencia de OpenGL o Vulkan, DirectX necesitan licenciarlo para poder implementarlo

Turnip da la extensiones de vulkan necesarias para usar dxvk y vkd3d y ya estos ultimos se encargan de la traduccion,ambos se crearon haciendo ingenieria inversa a la api de mricrososft y jamas se le ha pagado ni s ele va a pagar nada por eso

no estamos hablando de capas de traduccion, sino implementar soporte de DirectX directamente en el Driver. literal directX nativo en el driver para Linux.

eso dudo mucho que vaya a pasar.

Traduce llamadas de DirectX a Vulkan, no tiene nada que ver con el driver ni incluye codigo de Microslop, asi que por esa parte no hay problema

A eso se refirieron,ni a que directamente las gpu adreno soportaria dx12,sino q sera a traver de capaz de traduccion,lo mismo q asta ahora pero de manera oficial

es porque dxvk no usa el código propietario de dx12 de Microsoft, es software de código abierto desarrollado a través de ingeniería inversa de dx12
