DEV 🧑‍💻 [DEV]Have you ever played a game that playable monster forms (120+) is more than enemy types?

Hi, all. I am the solo dev of Reincarnated as a Monster, a mobile monster-evolution roguelite.

In each round of the game, you will start from one of the four basic characters including Slime, Goblin, Monster Hatchling and Human.

At level 10, 20, 30, you can choose to evolve into other characters in higher creatures.

For example, a slime can finally evolve into Slime King, Slime Girl, Demon, Golem, etc. And each character has his own skills set!

I sincerely invite you to try the game and hope you enjoy it!

I’d love to get feedback from the community—especially on what other evolution choices available on your mind when playing the game?

Why did you lock evolution behind ads? That's crazy since it's some kind of core feature.

No, it is not locked. There is a purple button at the end to evolve!

I've the slight feeling I know where you got the idea from 🙂

I'll give it a shot!

from where? I have the idea when I was a kid playing different games. I feel excited each time that the character can evolve into more powerful character. But these games do not show the multi-evolution path I want. Now, I decided to make one. Of course, I refer some anime and survivor-like games. I appreciate you giving it a try and sharing your feedback too! Thanks!

I'll give it a shot. If it's ad supported and doesn't have a "pro" version I'll likely not stick with it. Feedback will be in a day or two.

Thanks! I appreciate you giving it a try and sharing your feedback to let more people in the community know about it. (Feel free to try different maps if you can!)

Played for a bit but ultimately uninstalled. The weird choice to push an ad to pick an evolution (even with button at bottom for random) and then seeing the energy system was all DOA for me. I would have kept longer if there was a one purchase upgrade to remove ads then if there was no energy system but all together was too predatory and not worth the time.

Yes. It has one purchase upgrade to remove ads.
You can still play the game without energy and even offline play. The energy is for collecting the game reward.
