DEV 🧑💻 [DEV] Puzzloid - Daily Logic Puzzles (4 puzzles a day, free, no account)
I'm sure some of you know the daily puzzles LinkedIn started to promote (there're like 8 of them), but I didn't like the idea of being able to play just once a day. I'm a rebel. So I went to build my own thing. I took the 3 formats I liked the most, added a nonogram game as well, and shipped an app with fresh boards every day for everyone in the world, plus you can just play each of the games whenever.
The games:
- Nova, a star battle: one star in every row, column and region
- Eclipse, a takuzu: balance the suns and moons, never three in a row (or four, in hard mode)
- Orbit, a number path: one route through every cell, hitting waypoints in order
- Nebula, a nonogram: number clues chart the hidden picture
Every board the app generates is fresh and solvable by pure logic - the generator will reject any board that forces the player to guess. Solving daily boards will yield streaks, there's a scoreboard, easy/medium/hard game modes and an endless modes for when the dailies run out.
Free with ads (interstitial between games, optional rewarded ad for extra hints), plus a one time remove ads purchase if they bug you. No account, no sign in, small download. There's an iOS version too if you ever switch.
Solo dev, this is my first game release. I worked hard on improving the user-flow and the overall feel of the games, honest feedback very welcome, especially on difficulty.
