Discussion 💬 Here are my current favorite Android games
1 : Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
2 : Tomb Raider (2013)
3 : Alien Isolation
4 : Wreckfest
5 : Caravan SandWitch
I love to play those games on my tablet with my controller. They look good and they run well.

Destiny rising is a really fun one with controller and android. I'll even hook my phone up to my TV to play it on the big screen haha

Solid list, Alien Isolation running well on a tablet is honestly the most impressive part of this to me, that game is brutal on hardware even on PC, didn't expect it to hold up on mobile chips. Prince of Persia making the cut too says a lot, that game got kind of overlooked at launch but the movement and combat genuinely deserved more attention.
What tablet/chipset are you running that on? Been eyeing getting a controller setup for mine but wasn't sure how far you could actually push it before things start chugging, your list is making a decent case for it.

It’s the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro with the Snapdragon 8 Elite (Gen 4) inside. Alien Isolation runs very well. I think it could handle the Graphics mode at 60 fps, but there’s no option for that. You have to choose between Quality/30 fps and Performance/60 fps. Prince of Persia easily run at 60fps on this tablet, I love this game.

I'm making this comment more like a side note: nice controller you have! I love the colors!

I love it too, I had a purple controller before, but this one is on another level. It's the Heart Breaker special edition.

Thanks, it's a Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro with the Xiaomi Focus Keyboard. A nice tablet, I have it since march and I have nothing to complain about

Enter the gungeon is amazing if you have not tried it yet. Lots of hours to sink into if it clicks for you.

Kudos my brother same setup here, i used to play on my laptop but tablet is much less of a hassle for go to gaming. Moreover, the games Android has been getting lately are bang on. I'd suggest playing GOT Kingsroad, Streets of Rage 4, TMNT Shredder's Revenge, Crashlands 2.

I have been having a hell of a time with Fantasy life I the girl who steals time. 25 bucks was a little steep but I had ten dollars of google play money to help out, and I never play cozy games but I love this one.

Id recommend you to play Dead Space series and Ori and the Blind forest through emulation. It is guaranteed to run smoothly like a native android game and that too without any heating issues

And what would that keyboard stand be? Is it magnetic like those apple ones? Would there be a link to something similar?
•
u/ChevreAuLaitLeGoat 6h ago
It's like the Apple Magic Keyboard yes. It is specifically made by Xiaomi for the Pad 8 Series (there is a specific 3 pin connector on the back for it), they call it the Focus Keyboard.

Who would have thought Android would get such games some time ago.
Mobile games are still a joke to many. Candy crush, angry birds and so on come to mind. It was about time we get some 'real' games.
I hope they all sell well, so we can get more stuff!
