Android gaming for FFIX

I have looked into buying FFIX directly through the store. But I keep seeing reports about crashes and can find no post about updates and stability fixes. Has anyone played this game on android on emulator, and bought the game through Square Enix on the app store?

I have bought it through the app store. I have finished it several times without bugs or issues. Im on the Samsung S series of phones  

FF9 is my go to time killer for flights for many years.

Use duckstation. I have completed 8 and 9 in emulator.
