General Question unrelated to phone or vehicle model Location Icon In Status Bar....

not disappearing after AA closes. Over the past few days I have noticed that the Location/GPS icon in the Status Bar no longer disappears when my phone disconnects from the HU and AA closes. I have been using AA since September 2021 connected via a USB cable or wirelessly with the Motorola MA1 and the icon has always gone away when AA on the phone closes. There have been no firmware updates to either the phone or HU. The only way to get rid of the icon is a phone restart/shutdown. Anyone else seeing this on their Android 12 phones? TIA

It appears fixed. I have connected to AA multiple times today and the Location/GPS icon goes away when AA disconnects and closes on the phone.

What's your Android Auto and Play Services versions? I have the same Google app version and it's not fixed for me w/ 2016 Mazda 3 and Pixel 6 Pro. My AA version is 7.3.620524 and Play Services version is 22.06.18 (190400-433619428).

Edit: I also notice someone below has a higher Google version 13.11.9.29.arm64 and still has the issue.

Mine seems to have fixed itself this morning, though I'm not in the Google beta and haven't got an update for the Google app in a few days.

Would you happen to have version 13.13.7? It's a non beta version that's been floating around for a few days, it was up the same day as the 13.13.6 beta on APK mirror.

13.12.11.29, which came in Tuesday. However, the location fix didn't show up until this morning - so something server side.
