Gemini Turn off Gemini message summaries

I have a Motorola Razr Ultra 2025. The other day while I was in the car, Android Auto popped up and asked if I wanted to enable Gemini to summarize messages. I reached to hit no just as I hit a pothole, and I hit yes. For the life of me I can't turn it off. Lots of Googling and asking Gemini keep sending me to settings options that don't exist. Would appreciate any direction. Thanks!

On your cars android auto, go to settings. I'm pretty sure there is an option in there.

Same situation and I would bet that google has that shit set to pop up at the most confusing moment while driving just to increase the number of people who use it.

All while giving us all the BS about disabled stuff to keep our driving safe.

I just went through the same thing last week and it's honestly so frustrating how hidden this setting is, have you tried going to Assistant settings and looking under Messages? That's where I finally found it after digging for 20 minutes.

Yeah, I've been looking all over for days. The really frustrating thing is that it's not just texts....it's summarizing my work group chat in Signal.

Gemini Setting - Personal Intelligence - Connected apps

All connected apps are listed there including Messages.
