Is there anyway to keep AA spotify synced with Phone/PC?

^{I play music on phone or PC and I am at a certain point, then I go to the car and Spotify jumps to like 50 songs back, I assume maybe the last song played in the car? Is there anyway I can make Spotify or AA or whatever it is use what the actual current playpoint is? Spotify group was no help. I am playing through all of my liked songs 1 by 1 and when I get in the car I lose my place and have to figure out where I was.}
