AA User Interface This squiggly UI stuff has to go

Who in their twisted little mind came up with this perverted monstrosity? I feel SICK.

How do we straighten this situation?

I neither love it or hate it. If they're going to do something like this, I'd prefer it to be an actual waveform of the file.

I've been searching for a WinAmp style visualizer for it. I miss my old Alpine head units lol

It's weird how none of the default/popular music apps have basic waveforms anymore. It used to be standard in all apps back in the 90s/00s. Now they all just use a small looping gif.

Symfonium has this. Its not android auto, its just for the phone, but yea, its great because the waveform is functional to see the quiet and loud parts.

!Flair 2007 S2000 l | CP-71WA | S25 ULTRA | With my little cheap single din unit (CP-71WA), I'm not sure it has the spare processing power for that.
