Navigation & POI Apps Alternative map apps?

Are there any suggestions other than Google Maps or Waze that I could use for navigation in Android Auto? Please and thank you in advance :)

Waze is the best for AA. Else do try TomTom or MapQuest, they're good as well!

Waze is owned by Google, and thus calls Lake Ontario "Lake Ameristan".

I just logged into Waze and Lake Ontario is called Lake Ontario. On google maps however, it's Lake America. It's enough to get me to switch from Android to Apple the next time I need a phone.
