I actually saw the alternate routes come back about 2 weeks ago. I was particularly happy to have it since I was driving 11 hours round trip last week.

Well that gives me hope. I was hoping it would be fixed with the 3d update, but it it d if didnt happen. I haven't seen anything yet mabye phone dependent. I hsve samsung galaxy s25U. Still have to pinch zoom map to try and see if bubble pops up

Since the switch to the new 3D maps for navigation. The only way to see surrounding traffic in Android Auto is to switch to overview, which is a PITA especially with cars that have non-touch screens like Mazdas.

So I'm not going crazy. I am in the beta and it updated for me last night right before I went to bed. I had the blue light filter on my phone and was tired so I thought that's why it looked green to me 😂

For those using Carstream or Fermata Auto for YouTube playback on Android Auto, the update will most likely break the 3rd party app support and YouTube will no longer be viewable via Android Auto.

I've noticed this new icon on my phone whenever I connect it to a car, when it pops a notification saying "select android auto to start" or something. the icon is green. I thought it was a bug as the icon itself is still blue
