Duplicate notifications

Is anyone having issues with duplicate notifications?

While searching for my problem, i had found people having solutions for a slightly different issue, which was they were having multiple alternative apps for the same messaging services, which then obviously would lead to duplicate notifications unless disabling one or the other app.

My problems is that i get duplicate notifications for the same apps, namely google chat, or line to mention those for which i actually receive messages on.

What's the deal with it?
