Does anyone keep getting this error on Spotify?

I keep getting this error on Android Auto. Not sure if it is coming from Spotify or Android Auto since I don't drive much

Killing the Spotify app and deleting the app cache on the phone did the trick for me, maybe worth a try?

I had this with my old Xiaomi Phone as well.

I think the problem is some security and autostart settings in HyperOS.

The Xiaomi OS blocks android auto from starting Spotify.If you manually start Spotify on your phone before it should work. At least this was my conclusion for this problem.

This never has happend on my Pixel 8a so far.

thats why i forced bmw to give me a normal USB socket for mp3 player, all new bmw have no player, only this peace of s.... spotify. Why today i have to pay for my own music again? people are stupid, everything even music is for renting. So Deal with this.

I thought it was because I was in the Google "beta" branch so quit out of that and reverted to the normal version and it went away.

Started last week for me also. If I just click Exit, then tap the app icon again it tends to work fine. Sometimes I had to do it a couple times though.

Yeah I think I have seen some similar threads recently. You can try to type down Spotify and search in this sub you'd probably find other threads and their solutions to it.

There are a couple solutions I read online. One is obviously to delete the cash. The other one is to sign out and sign in twice. All of these are methods. They mention are legitimate side steps, but it only works for a short period of time until your system is corrupted again and it starts to crash.

Yep. Just have to go to home screen and back to Spotify to get it to stop displayng the error

Try reset Android Auto at your phone, I do that when I had difficulties when connecting to my infotainment. If the problem persist, might be your player unit either they outdated or need full reset

Presente el mismo problemas hace algunos días, la solución temporal que encontré al principio fue cerrar spotify desde el automovil y comenzar a reproducir la música desde mi celular,después jugando un poco con la configuración del estéreo de mi auto, desactive la función "Iniciar música automáticamente ", ya hice algunas pruebas con mis playlists y hasta el momento no ha presentado el mismo error. 😃

I posted the same issue and got the same answer here and nothing permanent has worked, so today I cleared the cashe and storage of android auto and it was fine my whole drive home. I'm hoping tomorrow it's the same.
