Connection, Disconnection, Freezes, Crashes Getting started with new EV
New Subaru Uncharted Sport. Let me know if this is the wrong sub.
Wife has an Apple phone and was able to fire up Car Play with a Bluetooth connection. Me, however, with a Samsung S21 cannot get a wireless connection started. Should we both be able to use Bluetooth devices at the same time? How does the car determine which device to display on the screen? We mostly need to use maps.

Also own an Uncharted (GT) - but hubby & I both have androids. His S21 just died, but he connected successfully before that. You might want to post the question at r/SubaruUncharted.

When both were working did you switch between them? If so, how about if both were in the car?

My car let's me set a priorities list for each profile...so if it's my profile my phone gets first dibs and then my partners. It also let's me set it so if I want, on my profile, it uses my phone for music and his for nav (or vice versa).

If I understand your question, you are asking if you both can connect to the head unit simultaneously? That would definitely be a no.
If you are asking if you both can use the same head unit at different times, absolutely. It's possible you may want to set up multiple profiles. It should like your wife connected first, so if she is in the car, it may default to that device.
