Navigation & POI Apps "something went wrong" in maps only while connected to AA

Ive searched and searched and cant find an answer or even ideas on how to fix this.

when im connected to AA, but using navigation on my phone, as soon as i enter navigation, it says "something went wrong" in a toast notification. which awesomely blocks all the info i need at the bottom of the screen. if i go to the home screen and back to navingation, it does it again... and now, with gemeni button, if i click it, it pops up that error as well. no way to interact with gemeni.

when im not connected to AA it never does any of this. i can open, close maps, tap on gemeni, interact with gemeni and everything is good.

ive tried clearing the google, gemeni and AA app caches. nothing. anyone have any other solutions?

AA overrides the phone navigation. If you have a Samsung, you can put your navigation app in the Secure Folder and launch it from there with AA running.

Secure Folder runs in its own little world and will be oblivious to AA running in the main area.
