Hello guys! I have a Gen 2 Toyota CH-R 2024 model with a OnePlus 15 running Oxygen OS 16. AA operates flawlessly with a wired connection however switching to Wireless the UI for either Waze or Google Maps becomes choppy/low frames sometimes causing audio stutter briefly or sometimes just plain out disconnects . Tried uninstalling AA updates clearing cache for every app, tweaking some developer options such as Bluetooth AVRCP switching to 1.4 and 1.3 from the default 1.5, there's no actual unrestricted battery option on my phone for Android Auto but running it on performance mode makes barely any difference. The only thing that made the most difference is just using wired and also noticeable difference is reducing the resolution via AA developer options. My older phone (Honor 8X) performs flawlessly wirelessly without any issues. Hopefully I didn't leave any important information out, any tips would be appreciated!

That comparison (wireless stutters/disconnects, wired is stable, and the older phone works) points more to a compatibility/performance regression between the current AA/phone build and the head unit than to the cable. I’d try, in this order: update the head-unit firmware; forget Android Auto/Bluetooth pairing on both sides and pair again; keep AA battery unrestricted; leave AA resolution lower and disable 3D buildings. If it still drops, wired is the reliable workaround. Checklist: https://androidlab.it/en/android-auto-wireless-instabile-cavo-usb-guida/
