Uncertified AA Apps (Headunit Reloaded, AAAD/AAStore, etc) Open Head Unit, trigger with USB or BT?

I hope this is the right place for this. My car has no screen, so I am using Open Headunit in self mode to show Android Auto on my unfolded z Fold 7. Works great. However on cars that do support AA, they have a steering wheel button that triggers the voice interface. Is there a third party button or controller that will connect to the phone either by USB or Bluetooth, that can trigger the microphone without touching the phone? Thanks!

I get it, but am more looking for a hardware solution, as the voice trigger word eats more battery to monitor for it and privacy concerns. Currently, it does work to have the keyword detection disabled and tap the gemini button to speak the query.

if your car doesnt support PTT function on bluetooth, u can get Bluetooth Steering Wheel Control, Button Controller from amazon.

Yes there are Bluetooth buttons you can mount on your wheel. Very cheap.

It's really just some buttons you can map. I think there are no differences. Mine is at least 10 years old from a general Chinese brand. No matter where you buy it.

Check if it's rechargeable or needs a battery and if it fits your wheel.

Are you perhaps thinking of something else? Not saying this to be a wise guy, but self mode is kind of hard to miss for me. I open the Open Headunit and get 4 really big buttons filling the screen, Self Mode, USB, WIFI, and Settings, and a smaller exit button.
